McDonald’s is finally adding the most requested item to the menu

McDonald’s has announced updates to its menu with items coming next month – including a new Big Mac burger.

The Chicken Big Mac will hit UK stores on February 2 and will be in 1,300 stores, the fast food giant has confirmed.

But McDonald’s fans will have to be quick if they want to try the new burger – as it will only be available until March 15, or while supplies last.

A statement from the chain said: “This is one of McDonald’s most requested menu items and it’s finally here – with two 100% chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles and the inimitably deliciously world-famous Big Mac sauce between the iconic three-layer bun.

The new Big Mac will be available from next month

“Following the success of Chicken Big Mac in Australia, the latest edition of the legendary Big Mac will arrive in the UK and Ireland on 2.2.22.”

The Chicken Big Mac will cost £4.09 or £5.59 for a meal.

Fans of the fast-food chain will also have other new additions to sample, as a number of favorites return to the menu.

Starting February 2, Double Big Macs, Mozzarella Dippers, Galaxy Chocolate McFlurry, Galaxy Salted Caramel McFlurry and Chicken Legend will all be back on the menu.

Yesterday McDonald’s left some fans ‘heartbroken’ after announcing they were removing two popular dishes from their menu.

Fans of the fast food chain took to Twitter to express their disappointment at the permanent removal of bagels and breakfast wraps.

One user, Amy Lee, @Amykinsypoo said: “This is the worst decision you’ve ever made. Sausage Cheese Egg Bagels were officially the best thing on your menu.”
