McDonald’s Crispy McFillet: Where can you buy the new burger and how long does it last?

McDonald’s has announced a brand new burger. Called Crispy McFillet, the menu item is chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating, topped with fresh iceberg lettuce and comes with a peppery mayonnaise and a hint of truffles in a sourdough-style sesame bun .

The fast food chain has confirmed that the Crispy McFillet will be available in UK restaurants from Wednesday March 30, but unfortunately the burger will not be available in all branches. McDonald’s is only rolling it out as a test sale in 50 restaurants, choosing 41 restaurants in the Midlands as well as nine others in Ireland.

The crispier, crispier burger, which can be picked up for £5.59 from select restaurants, will only be available for a limited time, but if all goes well during the trial period, it’s believed the Crispy McFillet could become a permanent feature.

Michelle Graham-Clare, Marketing Director at McDonald’s UK&I, said: “We know how much our customers love our signature chicken dishes, so we’ve taken our time to ensure Crispy McFillet is bursting with flavor, to truly satisfy our customers. We truly believe this new addition to our menu is the tastiest chicken burger in the UK and Ireland and we can’t wait to hear what our Midlands customers think.”
