Matador is best known for its ultra-utility packs, designed to tackle tough conditions. Now the Boulder brand is looking to add another offering to their range with the introduction of the Droplet water resistant stuff sack.

The name might not go off the tongue, but the Droplet Water Resistant Storage Bag is just that, a handy bag you can put your things in so they don’t get wet. Simple in concept but technical in execution, Matador created this collapsible 2.5L container to fit in a 2.5″ x 1.25″ silicone case for easy transport and storage. Additionally, the Droplet’s carrying case includes a stainless steel keychain that can attach to virtually anything. Its superb ability to collapse and travel on its own makes the Droplet a worthy inclusion in anyone’s EDC rotation, however, there’s more to this bag than meets the eye.

Technically, the Droplet features a 20D ripstop nylon construction with a waterproof PU coating. For an added layer of waterproofing, Matador designed the bag with taped seams, which allows the bag to keep water in or out. Given its drawstring closure, the Droplet cannot protect your valuables from submersion, however, it is perfect for preventing a soaked swimsuit or sweaty sportswear from wetting surrounding materials, as well as for protect your valuables from splashes or spills.

The Droplet is available in black or blue and is a fantastic option for any on-the-go traveler looking for an easy-to-store storage solution. Matador’s Droplet Water-Resistant Storage Bag is $17 and available on its website.
