L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glotion Review – TODAY

When it comes to my makeup routine, I like to keep it simple and affordable. Especially during the summer, the less makeup I wear, the better. Not only that, but I’m definitely a novice with a makeup brush, so it’s best to keep things easy.

So while I was browsing TikTok for makeup tutorials and other beauty tips, I felt like I had struck gold when I came across a video of a girl with flawless skin. I absolutely had to know his secret – and it turned out to be surprisingly affordable.

After reading the comments section, I found out that she used the L’Oreal True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer. I was thrilled to see that it not only ranks in the top five selling foundation on Amazon – and is the best selling CC face cream – but also has over 9,000 global ratings five stars. I immediately bought it.

Although “glotion” is a top seller in the foundation category, it’s actually more of a tinted lotion that can give your skin a serious glow. As someone who prefers to spend most of their summer indoors, out of the sun, this is exactly what I need to get me through the next few months.

It’s surprisingly light

Whenever I hear the word “lotion” I automatically think of something that might feel thick and heavy on my face, but luckily it’s a glotion. It comes out of the tube like any other drugstore liquid foundation, and although it comes out on the thicker side initially, it thins out once applied and provides enough coverage that I feel confident all over. the day.

The lightweight formula contains two key ingredients that stood out to me: glycerin and shea butter. According to dermatologists, glycerin is known for its ability to retain moisture in the skin to keep it soft and hydrated. Shea butter is another moisturizing ingredient that I often look for when researching hand lotions and creams.

Since it’s meant to give your skin a glow, the lotion can be applied three different ways: as an all-over highlighter, as a spot treatment highlighter, or it can even be used under foundation. foundation for a more subtle glow. I prefer to put it all over to even out my skin tone and give me a more even look.

It is available in four different shades

The formula is available in fair, light, medium and deep shades. If you want a sheer look and prefer using it as a liquid highlighter, going for a lighter shade will work best. But if you’re like me and want an all-over glow, picking a shade that closely resembles your natural skin tone is probably the best bet. Rather than using a makeup brush or beauty blender, I simply use my fingers to apply it like I would any other lotion.

A five-star reviewer said how easy it was to find the right shade. “I love this makeup. It makes your skin look fresh, youthful and glowing,” she said. “[Finding the] perfect color matching was easy. I wear it outside and on special occasions when I want to shine.”

If you’re looking for more of a shimmery outline rather than a highlighter, choose a darker shade and use it as a liquid outliner for target areas like under your cheekbones.

I won’t be wearing foundation for a long time.

Since my skin tends to be especially oily in the warmer months, I was a little hesitant to ditch my go-to foundation and jump on something that might make my skin look even brighter. Not only that, but the $16 investment seemed a little scary considering I wasn’t sure how much I’d like it. However, I am more than happy to have taken the leap of faith. Plus, it’s now on sale for just $7 at Amazon and Walmart.

While I expected it to act more like a sheer coating, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it gave me the perfect subtle color hue and made my skin soft. I especially like that it’s not overpowering and looks natural, and it’s hard to tell that it’s actually a drugstore find. The formula is also quite long-lasting and doesn’t transfer, so I never find glitter on my fingers every time I accidentally touch my face.

This is the only “makeup” item I’ve used in the last few weeks since I bought it, and I really don’t think I’ll be going back to my typical foundation until the colder months come. start calling him again.

Whether you’re looking for a little extra glow this summer or want an affordable color-correcting base that doesn’t compromise coverage, L’Oreal’s True Match Lumi Glotion Natural Glow Enhancer might just become your new go-to.
