Diamond Packaging announced that it has won three awards at the 2021 North American Cardboard Packaging Competition, the premier competition for cardboard manufacturers involved in the concept, design, printing, performance and on-shelf appeal of packaging. cardboard-based. Diamond Lockbox cartons were converted using tear resistant cardboard and offset printed with three PMS color inks, in-line with UV matte coating, glossy UV coating and DiamondTouch soft touch coating.

The overall DiamondTouch soft-touch coating adds an attractive tactile quality that promotes interaction with the consumer. The glossy UV coating is closely linked to the raised accents and provides a stark contrast to the overall matte finish that surrounds it.

Multi-level embossed accents, including the Lockbox marijuana leaf logo mark and intricate scrolling details (blue cardboard), add dimension and provide a unique premium appearance to cannabis products. The recessed component of the Lockbox logo keyhole adds an additional tactile element.

Diamond won an Excellence Award in the Cosmetics category for the Illuminare Intensa Vince Camuto packaging from Parlux Fragrances.

The folding boxes were converted using FSC certified Stora Enso Ensocoat SBS board and offset printed with PMS 690 and dense black inks, in-line with a UV matte coating. The subtle multi-level relief linear pattern adds an unusual dimension and contributes to a unique visual and tactile presentation.

Diamond won an Excellence Award in the Cosmetics category for the Gold Rush Man Paris Hilton packaging from Parlux Fragrances. Folding boards were converted using metallized polyester board and offset printed with opaque gold, black and white UV inks, with glittery flexo UV coating and matte UV coating.

The embossed Gold Rush logo adds distinction and is framed by an interlocking geometric pattern, which is tightly inscribed on the front and back panels. Exquisite pearly flexo coating delivers multisensory product experience through unusual visual depth and haptic effects.
