If I had to pick one wardrobe staple that I couldn’t do without, it would definitely be jeans. In the fall and winter, I wear jeans almost every day. I own almost 30 different pairs so I feel pretty confident in my collection.

But that doesn’t mean I don’t play favorites when picking a pair every morning. Below, get the inside scoop on three of my all-time favorite jeans at economy, mid, and special prices.

For me, this pair of American Eagle is the perfect mix of mom jeans and a straight fit. I have a ton of AE denim and each pair washes well season after season and fits great. The brand also offers long and short crotches, which I appreciate. The Stretch Mom Straight Jean in particular is a must have in your wardrobe. It has a medium wash, high waist fit and minimal wear, so you will be able to use it almost every day. And priced at just under $ 50, this pair is a total win.

Madewell – The Perfect Vintage Jeans, $ 128

What would a denim raid be without Madewell? My friends and I love all Madewell jeans for their quality, size range and trendy styles. Perfect Vintage jeans have a great vintage, almost ’90s look, and that darker wash is easy to dress from top to bottom. I will say Madewell’s waist can be a bit tricky and suggest you go down one size. Every pair I’ve ever had stretches a bit after the first or two first wear, so reducing the size can help you avoid needing a belt in the future.

Do crazy things

Hudson Barbara high-rise bootcut jeans, $ 215

My very first luxury denim purchase was a pair of gray Hudson skinny jeans in high school and I’ve loved the brand ever since. I recently added the Barbara High-Rise Bootcut Jeans to my wardrobe and dubbed them my favorite black jeans. This pair is finished with a high shine wax coating which gives a bit of shine and enhances that bootcut style of all my other black jeans. Spending over $ 200 on jeans is crazy, but I think these (or any Hudson pair, really) are worth the price and investment.
